About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation. Incumbent will work an irregular tour of duty which may include weekends and holidays. This is a Regular Part Time (RPT) position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave).

Qualifying Experience: Must have 2 years of progressively responsible work experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to independently carry out a continuing outdoor recreation program, by applying the proper principles, concepts and techniques of various outdoor recreation activities., OR College degree in Recreation, which is directly related to the position being filled. Programming and activity planning experience required and experience must have been gained in an Outdoor Recreation program, or government agency, parks & recreation department, collegiate/educational environment, summer camp or similar activity. Experience in equipment asset accountability, money handling and budgeting required. Ability to communicate both written and orally. Ability to operate one or more gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles with the GWV of up to 10,000lbs, such as pickup trucks, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, keeps or station wagons. Must have a clean driving record and be able to adapt to changing conditions quickly and safely.
