Job Summary

About the position:This position will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts Center on F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. This position is considered Flexible. The position is guaranteed 0.00 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some weekends. As a Flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits. The starting pay for this position is $18.50 per hour.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to create a curriculum for framing classes and able to instruct patrons in the art of framing. Incumbent must have experience in picture framing, mat cutting and decorative mat cutting. Must have knowledge of wood and metal moldings for frames. Must have a general concept for colors and ability to recommend pleasing colors to patrons. Must have skill in use of a variety of hand and power tools used in framing. Basic knowledge of wood working and practical experience operating woodworking equipment is desirable.
