About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation on Dover Air Force Base. This position is considered Regular Part Time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week. As a Regular employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and sign up for benefits to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401(k) and NAF Retirement.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to NF-02 level, that demonstrated ability to apply the principles of one or more specialty areas of recreation. Experience such as assisting in the planning and execution of an Outdoor Recreation program, or responsibility for a large segment of such a program is considered qualifying. Skill in planning, coordination, and organizing outdoor recreation program activities. Skill in effective management of financial and physical resources and budget preparation. EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION: A 4-year course of study in any subject provided such a course of study included no less than 12 semester hours in general recreation, or one of the appropriate fields of recreation such as outdoor recreation or recreation and parks leadership. Must be able to obtain and retain appropriate driver's license, to operate a 10/15-passenger van is required and operating a 29/40-passenger bus and forklift are desirable. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical duties require standing, bending, reaching, stooping and lifting up to 40lbs. Must satisfactory complete a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check w/Inquires (NACI). "This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use."
