Job Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Youth Center on the Naval Weapons Station, Goose Creek, SC. The position may require the incumbent to transport children in a government vehicle therefore a valid CDL state driver's license must be obtained and maintained; a good driving record may be required as a condition of employment.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:Must be physically fit and capable of working extended periods (up to 8 hours) of manual labor, including the capability of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Experience in maintaining a medium size warehouse/stockroom, including inventory tracking and accountability is desired. Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) certifying ability to drive a bus (up to 44 passenger) is required. CDL must certify that employee is air brake and passenger endorsed. Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI), State Criminal History Repository Check, Installation Records Check, CPR, First Aid, and positive guidance training. Must have the ability to operate motor vehicles in a safe manner. Must provide a copy of a safe driving record. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
