Job Description

To qualify for the Printing Plant Worker (Motor Vehicle Operator), you must meet the following requirements: Applicants must meet the following Screen Out Element/Job Element #1 to be considered eligible for this position: Ability to do the work of a Printing Plant Worker (Motor Vehicle Operator) without More Than Normal Supervision. Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed Screen Out Element/Job Element, which appears as question #2 in the online questionnaire. If your knowledge and ability in the Screen Out Element/Job Element is not sufficient, you will not receive further consideration. In addition to the requirement above, applicants must have the following knowledge and abilities: Driving medium-heavy delivery trucks; Operating an electric industrial forklift to move, stack, and load materials; Completing pre-trip and post-trip safety check sheets and recording necessary information on Vehicle Manifest in accordance with office regulations; Giving instructions to any assigned helpers; and Acting as a guide for truck driver during backing maneuvers. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
