MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Online resumes must demonstrate qualification by providing specific examples and associated results, in response to the announcement's mandatory criteria specified in this vacancy announcement: 1. Experience producing analytical products (e.g., reports, articles, projects) on matters of national concern by applying structured analytical techniques. 2. Demonstrated experience utilizing geospatial data or open source intelligence to deliver a product or service to a customer. 3. Proficiency in the use and function of multiple geospatial toolsets such as QGIS, Google Earth, ArcPro, Erdas Imagine, and/or Falconview. 4. Experience using analytical tools and technology for data conditioning, standardization, and analysis to produce findings. 5. Demonstrated ability to develop and present findings to meet the needs of various audiences. 6. Demonstrated experience collaborating with experts to solve problems. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Geography, Physical Science, Data Analytics, Cartography, Statistics, or a related field -OR- a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a certificate in GIS from an accredited university. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in GIS, spatial analysis, or any area listed in option A, plus experience working in an Intelligence discipline requiring creating, analyzing, and interpreting spatial data, or related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience working in an Intelligence discipline requiring creating, analyzing, and interpreting spatial data, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Distinguish principal colors and shades/hues of principal colors; Near visual acuity of 20/20 or better with or without corrective lenses DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Demonstrated experience with hybrid geospatial and imagery with the ability to apply them to various problem sets and create products to answer key intelligence questions. 2. Possess knowledge of technical skills in scripting and coding, programming, algorithm development, and/or data science. 3. Familiarity with structured observation management principles for locating, identifying, and capturing observations. 4. Knowledge of national and/or Commercial Imaging Systems; Image Tasking; Image Processing; Image Exploitation, sensor capabilities; analytic assessments; or imagery analysis and writing imagery reports.
