Job Summary

This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (DRR), Resolution Strategy Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The incumbent serves as principal subject matter and technical expert in the areas of franchise analysis and marketing, specifically: least cost modeling and analysis, least cost resolutions, and valuations. Job Description

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience conducting financial analysis and modeling for financial institutions, including bank acquisition valuations, cost benefit analysis, and leading the development, and communication of conclusions to senior management or other high-level stakeholders.
