Job Summary

This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (DCP), Compliance & CRA Examinations Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support ensuring the Division's compliance examination program is operating in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with the established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience analyzing bank compliance with applicable consumer protection laws, regulations, and related examination policies in a banking or financial institution regulatory environment. Must be a Commissioned Examiner in the FDIC or another organization with comparable commissioning criteria to that used by the FDIC's Division of Depositor & Consumer Protection. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
