Job Description

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 12/18/2025. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 12/18/2025 GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Advising management on significant budget and financial management matters and consulting on the impact to organization-wide programs and functions; Researching, analyzing, and providing recommendations on complex matters relating to planning, programming, budgeting, resource allocation, funds control, and performance measurement; Implementing changes to agency-wide budget or resource management policies and practices to address audit findings, management recommendations, or financial system changes; Representing a major agency on budget or financial management groups to advocate priorities and brief senior leadership on progress and recommendations; Preparing long term budget forecasts and resource allocation or; applying policy guidance to determine the effects on budget programs.
