Job Description

The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. If qualifying with a degree, degree must be in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical, Mechanical or a related field (for example, Construction Management and Space Planning) or a Business related field (for example, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, and Finance). Relevant experience must include two or more of the following: trades/facilities operations; facilities system integration/interaction; review of facilities information to determine design solutions; construction; hospitality; development of cost estimating and projections, scope of work and project schedule in a related facilities or trade environment. Certification in a relevant field (for example, electrical, mechanical, interior) may count for up to one year of experience. For Senior level: Additionally, must have experience as a supervisor/site manager or specific technical expertise in a facilities specialty (for example, chilled water, electrical power, indoor air, outage coordination). FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or vocational/technical training in a relevant field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Journeyman license in a relevant field plus 1 additional year of relevant experience. SENIOR Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, vocational/technical training in a relevant field plus 11 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 additional years of relevant experience, or a Journeyman license in a relevant field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master Tradesman license in a relevant field with no additional experience.
