Job Description

The qualifications listed below are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Degree must be in an Occupational Safety and Health-related field (for example, Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Management, Safety Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene); however, a degree in any field is acceptable if the applicant holds any of the following credentials: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Graduate Safety Professional (GSP), Occupational Hygiene & Safety Technician (OHST), Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). Relevant experience must be in a safety-related field (for example, occupational safety and health, safety management, safety science, safety engineering, industrial hygiene). For Senior level: Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) must be obtained within 24 months of employment. FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. SENIOR Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
